I was tagged by Rita at the Crafty Ex-Pat to share my Christmas wishlist.
I’ve read Rita’s and at least a dozen more – and they are incredibly inspiring, wishing for all sorts of good and noble things, or just plain funny.
A very tough act to follow!
For what it’s worth, here’s my list, shared from the heart …
Well, 2012 has been an “interesting” year. Lots of challenges, but at least I’m still here to tell the tale – I very nearly didn’t make it after my op in June!
So now to my wishlist for Christmas and 2013 …
1. Please PLEASE p-l-e-a-s-e (with sugar on top!) could we sell our blocks of land and come out of it debt free? Even a bit of a profit would be nice! We’re just a regular Mom & Pop investor, not billion dollar property moguls. It’s been a long, hard slog to subdivide the one lot into two. We didn’t count on the GFC either. After all the stress and anxiety, we just want to be free of the burden. Surely somewhere out there is a buyer who will a. have the money and b. fall in love with these magical properties in Cleveland’s Oyster Point?! (Shameless plug alert: Imagine building your dream house here, and being able to go fishing or crabbing from your own backyard. There’s even a resident koala! If you want to find out more about these two gorgeous blocks of land, click here).
2. For Redland City Living and my associated writing / editing business to take off in 2013! I was made redundant in October … they say that success is the best revenge … I would love to find out if that’s true!
3. For my husband and I to be able to attend my dear friend Catherine’s wedding in Christchurch in March.
That’s about it really.
I know I am blessed in many ways, so these are the things that would REALLY make my Christmas and 2013.
Love, Janet xxx
