I’m beginning to think that Miss 17 has a bit of a makeup obsession.
She has trouble walking into a chemist or department store without buying new makeup; not to mention the steady stream of parcels arriving thanks to her forays on Ebay.
This is what arrived just last week:
Makeup Obsession: the evidence is clear!
So I thought I’d give you a glimpse of her dressing table and extensive makeup collection, and let you be the judge:
It seems like rather a lot (and this is just SOME of it) – especially when you compare it to my minimalist makeup kit …
Does Miss 17 have a makeup obsession? You be the judge!
Lydia C. Lee says
Whoa!!! Impressive collection (or scary, depending where you stand…)
Janet Camilleri says
From where I stand? It’s MESSY!
Trish says
My teenager was male – but my nieces’ bathroom looks this.
Tamara says
Oh boy that is something I guess house will experience when my daughter is just a little older.
Janet Camilleri says
I don’t know if all teenage girls are quite this obsessed …
Ness says
The real question is: if you ‘borrowed’ something would she notice? If so, then yes, definitely an obsession!
Janet Camilleri says
You know – I think she would!!!!! So there you have it – definite obsession!
Emily @ Have A Laugh On Me says
She might have found her new career?!
Janet Camilleri says
That’s what I reckon too. But for the moment she insists she is happy as a barista, doesn’t want to do any more study …
Mrs Organised says
I think most of us were probably guilty of this when we were younger β¦ I know I was! Wisdom will come with age!
Janet Camilleri says
And bills to eat into that disposable income, LOL!
Alicia says
That is a truck load of make up! I was the same at her age, money to burn and lots of pretty things! I don’t think I had quite that much though π
Janet Camilleri says
I always used to burn my money on clothes rather than makeup
Jacana says
My gosh she will be able to start her own beautician business.
Lucy @ Bake Play Smile says
Oh wow!!! That’s an impressive collection! I’ll know where to head when I next run out of mascara then π
Janet Camilleri says
She actually lent me a new blush brush the other day – and said I could keep it – yay!
Fair, Fake and Fifty says
Eish, that is a LOT of make-up and accessories! π
Kathy Marris says
At least it is neat and tidy and not like my daughter’s vanity cupboard used to look like. She has bottles and jars galore almost empty and things spilled over the vanity shelves everywhere, even nail polish! Her favourite shop is Priceline which explains it all.
Julia says
So weird looking at these photos a few years later. I actually can’t believe how much my collection has grown. The makeup shown in these pictures would fill just one of my 18 drawers now. How scary! Will have to send you more recent photos lol π
Janet Camilleri says
And I thought you had an obsession THEN!!!
